# Notebook vs AiNotes Recorder

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AiNotes Recorder at none against Notebook's 3. AiNotes Recorder also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). Notebook's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. AiNotes Recorder asks for nothing beyond the download.

AiNotes Recorder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
