# US Cryo vs Proper Shop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Proper Shop at fortnightly against US Cryo's every 6 weeks. Proper Shop also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 2). US Cryo's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for US Cryo against 5.0 for Proper Shop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proper Shop has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
