# Flex vs Equity

The clearest difference is ads: Equity at none against Flex's shown. Equity also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flex sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Equity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flex ships an update every 4 months, Equity every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
