# TRAKR app vs MAGIC EAGLE

The clearest difference is monetization model: TRAKR app at free with in-app purchases against MAGIC EAGLE's subscription. TRAKR app also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 58%). MAGIC EAGLE's advantage is ratings volume (276 vs 39) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TRAKR app sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and MAGIC EAGLE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per 6 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MAGIC EAGLE holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MAGIC EAGLE has 276 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of TRAKR app's written reviews are positive against 58% of MAGIC EAGLE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
