# Smart Gift vs Sahal

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sahal at free against Smart Gift's paid. Sahal also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Smart Gift's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Smart Gift against 5.0 for Sahal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Gift has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smart Gift ships an update every 2 weeks, Sahal every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
