# Pickup vs Go Freightmate

The clearest difference is rating: Go Freightmate at 5.0 against Pickup's 2.3. Go Freightmate also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Pickup's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Go Freightmate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pickup has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pickup ships an update every 4 months, Go Freightmate every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
