# Pickup vs Ummity

The clearest difference is rating: Ummity at 5.0 against Pickup's 2.3. Ummity also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). Pickup's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ummity holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pickup has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pickup ships an update every 4 months, Ummity weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
