# Knowt vs Knowkard

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Knowt at 11K against Knowkard's 2. Knowt also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and chart position (#71 vs unranked). Knowkard's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knowt sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Knowkard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Knowkard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knowt has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Knowt ships an update weekly, Knowkard every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
