# Knowt vs Study Lock

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Knowt at 11K against Study Lock's 10. Knowt also leads on chart position (#71 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knowt sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Study Lock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Knowt against 4.8 for Study Lock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knowt has 11K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
