# Knowt vs Breadcrumb Academy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Breadcrumb Academy at none against Knowt's 32. Breadcrumb Academy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Knowt's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 2) and chart position (#122 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knowt sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Breadcrumb Academy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Breadcrumb Academy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knowt has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
