# Knowt vs Seton Service

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Seton Service at none against Knowt's 32. Seton Service also leads on update cadence (daily vs weekly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Knowt's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 5) and chart position (#93 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knowt sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Seton Service asks for nothing beyond the download.

Seton Service holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knowt has 11K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Knowt ships an update weekly, Seton Service daily. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
