# Blue Light Filter vs ScamDrill

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScamDrill at every 3 days against Blue Light Filter's weekly. Blue Light Filter's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blue Light Filter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and ScamDrill sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blue Light Filter ships an update weekly, ScamDrill every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
