# Good Inside vs Mahj School

The clearest difference is rating: Good Inside at 4.9 against Mahj School's 3.7. Good Inside also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (14K vs 3). Mahj School's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Good Inside sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $84.00 per 3 months and Mahj School sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Good Inside holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Good Inside has 14K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Good Inside's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mahj School's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Good Inside ships an update every 3 days, Mahj School every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
