# Tesla Pinger vs T

The clearest difference is rating: T at 5.0 against Tesla Pinger's 2.6. T also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). Tesla Pinger's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tesla Pinger sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. T asks for nothing beyond the download.

T holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tesla Pinger has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tesla Pinger ships an update fortnightly, T every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
