# Focus Timer vs Bloom Focus Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bloom Focus Timer at every 10 days against Focus Timer's monthly. Focus Timer's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Bloom Focus Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Timer ships an update monthly, Bloom Focus Timer every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
