# Facepunk vs Positive Affirmations

The clearest difference is rating: Positive Affirmations at 4.8 against Facepunk's 4.2. Positive Affirmations also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (288 vs 5). Facepunk's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Facepunk sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Positive Affirmations sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Positive Affirmations holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Positive Affirmations has 288 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.

Facepunk ships an update every 3 weeks, Positive Affirmations every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
