# Match Junk vs Nut Sort

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nut Sort at fortnightly against Match Junk's every 2 months. Nut Sort also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (188K vs 25K). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Match Junk sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Nut Sort sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nut Sort holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nut Sort has 188K ratings behind it against 25K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Match Junk's written reviews are positive against 41% of Nut Sort's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Match Junk ships an update every 2 months, Nut Sort fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
