# iPrint vs Printer App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Printer App at 100% against iPrint's 41%. Printer App also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). iPrint's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (136 vs 7). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iPrint sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Printer App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Printer App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPrint has 136 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of iPrint's written reviews are positive against 100% of Printer App's.

iPrint ships an update every 6 weeks, Printer App weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
