# Freenotes® vs 随手写笔记

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Freenotes® at 64K against 随手写笔记's 3. Freenotes® also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). 随手写笔记's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freenotes® sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and 随手写笔记 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

随手写笔记 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freenotes® has 64K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Freenotes® ships an update every 8 days, 随手写笔记 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
