# Tandem vs Book

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Tandem at 15.1 against Book's 17.0. On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tandem sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and Book sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
