# Smart vs FlashTap

The clearest difference is ads: Smart at none against FlashTap's shown. Smart also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). FlashTap's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Smart ships an update every 3 weeks, FlashTap every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
