# Badge Book vs NOAC Patch Guide

The clearest difference is update cadence: NOAC Patch Guide at every 3 days against Badge Book's fortnightly. NOAC Patch Guide also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Badge Book sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and NOAC Patch Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Badge Book ships an update fortnightly, NOAC Patch Guide every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
