# Istar Media live vs Proto Post

The clearest difference is rating: Proto Post at 5.0 against Istar Media live's 3.7. Proto Post also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 weeks). Istar Media live's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
