# iXflash File vs ROSPE

The clearest difference is rating: iXflash File at 5.0 against ROSPE's 2.2. iXflash File also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). ROSPE's advantage is ratings volume (78 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iXflash File holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ROSPE has 78 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iXflash File ships an update every 6 weeks, ROSPE every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
