# Osmosis vs Biochemistry Mastery

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Osmosis at 3.9K against Biochemistry Mastery's 37. Osmosis also leads on chart position (#59 vs unranked). Biochemistry Mastery's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Osmosis sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month and Biochemistry Mastery sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Osmosis holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osmosis has 3.9K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Osmosis's written reviews are positive against 50% of Biochemistry Mastery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
