# Osmosis vs ParaLab

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ParaLab at none against Osmosis's 14. Osmosis's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 3). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Osmosis sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month. ParaLab asks for nothing beyond the download.

ParaLab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osmosis has 3.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Osmosis ships an update monthly, ParaLab every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
