# Memo Widget vs InkDrop

The clearest difference is rating: Memo Widget at 4.4 against InkDrop's 4.0. Memo Widget also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). InkDrop's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and price ($0.99 vs $4.00). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Memo Widget costs $4.00 and InkDrop $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Memo Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memo Widget has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Memo Widget's written reviews are positive against 100% of InkDrop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Memo Widget ships an update every 6 weeks, InkDrop every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
