# NSCA vs 8lingo

The clearest difference is ads: NSCA at none against 8lingo's shown. 8lingo's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NSCA sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and 8lingo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NSCA ships an update every 4 months, 8lingo monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
