# Number Sum vs Equ8

The clearest difference is ads: Equ8 at none against Number Sum's shown. Equ8 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Number Sum's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.5 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Number Sum sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Equ8 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
