# Recall vs Mitamaton

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mitamaton at every 3 days against Recall's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Recall sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Mitamaton sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Recall ships an update every 3 months, Mitamaton every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
