# File Manager App vs Gloss+

The clearest difference is ads: Gloss+ at none against File Manager App's shown. Gloss+ also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). File Manager App's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. File Manager App sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Gloss+ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for File Manager App against 5.0 for Gloss+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: File Manager App has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
