# Viva Sing vs Famy

The clearest difference is rating: Famy at 5.0 against Viva Sing's 1.3. Famy also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 3). Viva Sing's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Viva Sing sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Famy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Famy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Famy has 25 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Viva Sing's written reviews are positive against 90% of Famy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Viva Sing ships an update every 9 days, Famy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
