# Cereal Translator vs 疯狂翻译师

The clearest difference is monetization model: 疯狂翻译师 at free with in-app purchases against Cereal Translator's subscription. 疯狂翻译师 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Cereal Translator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (391 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cereal Translator sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 疯狂翻译师 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

疯狂翻译师 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cereal Translator has 391 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
