# REPRESENT vs Mercier

The clearest difference is ads: REPRESENT at none against Mercier's shown. REPRESENT also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 6). Mercier's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

REPRESENT holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: REPRESENT has 1.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of REPRESENT's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mercier's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

REPRESENT ships an update every 3 weeks, Mercier every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
