# Daisy vs VirtualHamster

The clearest difference is update cadence: Daisy at every 6 days against VirtualHamster's every 6 weeks. VirtualHamster's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daisy sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and VirtualHamster sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daisy ships an update every 6 days, VirtualHamster every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
