# Webcam Widgets vs EV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EV at none against Webcam Widgets's 1. EV also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Webcam Widgets's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Webcam Widgets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. EV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Webcam Widgets ships an update every 9 days, EV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
