# Archivist vs Normi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Normi at every 3 days against Archivist's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Archivist sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Normi sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Archivist ships an update monthly, Normi every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
