# iWallpaper vs Fun Widgets

The clearest difference is ads: iWallpaper at none against Fun Widgets's shown. Fun Widgets's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (355 vs 15). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iWallpaper sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Fun Widgets sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fun Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fun Widgets has 355 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of iWallpaper's written reviews are positive against 65% of Fun Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iWallpaper ships an update every 2 weeks, Fun Widgets weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
