# SwiftyPrep vs DP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SwiftyPrep at none against DP's 1. DP's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SwiftyPrep asks for nothing beyond the download.

SwiftyPrep ships an update every 2 weeks, DP every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
