# Trimbox vs AARConnect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AARConnect at 100% against Trimbox's 52%. AARConnect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 16). Trimbox's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.5) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 7 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trimbox sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.19 per 7 days. AARConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trimbox holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trimbox has 6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Trimbox's written reviews are positive against 100% of AARConnect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trimbox ships an update every 9 days, AARConnect every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
