# Stick Animator vs Fanart

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stick Animator at 65% against Fanart's 0%. Stick Animator also leads on ratings volume (953 vs 32) and device support (3 vs 1). Fanart's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stick Animator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fanart sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fanart holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stick Animator has 953 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Stick Animator's written reviews are positive against 0% of Fanart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stick Animator ships an update fortnightly, Fanart every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
