# Stick Animator vs Anime Creator

The clearest difference is rating: Anime Creator at 5.0 against Stick Animator's 3.9. Stick Animator's advantage is ratings volume (982 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stick Animator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Anime Creator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anime Creator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stick Animator has 982 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stick Animator ships an update fortnightly, Anime Creator every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
