# Cifer . Fun vs Neo

The clearest difference is rating: Cifer . Fun at 5.0 against Neo's 3.5. Cifer . Fun also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.4). Neo's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cifer . Fun sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Neo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cifer . Fun holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Neo has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cifer . Fun ships an update every 2 months, Neo every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
