# Makeover time! vs Dream Makeover

Makeover time! and Dream Makeover both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Dream Makeover's written reviews are positive against 50% of Makeover time!'s. Dream Makeover also leads on ratings volume (70 vs 23). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Makeover time! sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Dream Makeover sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Makeover time! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 70 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Makeover time!'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Dream Makeover's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Makeover time! ships an update every 3 weeks, Dream Makeover monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
