# Modo pro vs Alanis Fit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Alanis Fit at every 3 days against Modo pro's every 6 weeks. Alanis Fit also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). Modo pro's advantage is ratings volume (85 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alanis Fit holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Modo pro has 85 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Modo pro ships an update every 6 weeks, Alanis Fit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
