# FairConsent vs Tap Pointer

The clearest difference is update cadence: FairConsent at every 10 days against Tap Pointer's monthly. FairConsent also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FairConsent sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Tap Pointer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FairConsent ships an update every 10 days, Tap Pointer monthly. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
