# NuCal Calendar Planner vs Notal Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: NuCal Calendar Planner at every 2 months against Notal Pro's every 5 months. NuCal Calendar Planner also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NuCal Calendar Planner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Notal Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NuCal Calendar Planner ships an update every 2 months, Notal Pro every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
