# Executive Notes vs QR Note

The clearest difference is ads: QR Note at none against Executive Notes's shown. QR Note also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Executive Notes ships an update every 2 months, QR Note fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
