# Everywhere Is Queer vs Gem

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Everywhere Is Queer at none against Gem's 4. Everywhere Is Queer also leads on ratings volume (626 vs 5) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 18.0). Gem's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gem sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month. Everywhere Is Queer asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Everywhere Is Queer against 5.0 for Gem. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everywhere Is Queer has 626 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
