# WidgetKit vs Flower Language

The clearest difference is ads: WidgetKit at none against Flower Language's shown. Flower Language's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WidgetKit sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Flower Language sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flower Language holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flower Language has 1.1K ratings behind it against 224, so its average is the more settled of the two. WidgetKit ships an update every 10 days, Flower Language every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
